Light pours into our sun room, the perfect place to relax with a book or enjoy a coffee. At night, our telescope affords a wonderous view of a sky peppered with stars over the sweeping expanse of the North Atlantic.
We are perched on the lap of Notre Dame Bay, where the day's beginning and end are marked by the orange hue of the rising sun and its farewell salute at day's end, leaving the bay bathed in a rich glow of pink-champagne. Take a stroll along the beach or relax at the end of our pier.
This is a place where the shearwaters circle, where 10,000 year-old towers of ice loiter, where thousands of breaching majestic humpback whales come to feed every summer.
Our generous breakfast provides you with the fuel to start what promises to be an adventurous day. They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and at Sunset Bed and Breakfast, we take that very seriously. Our breakfast menu includes fresh fruit and juice, crisp Canadian bacon, ham, eggs, cereal, toast, and a cup of tea or coffee. Our breads, muffins, and jams are all homemade. You won't go away from our breakfast table unsatisfied, and we'll do everything in our power to ensure your requests are accommodated.
We can provide other meals upon request. There's nothing like the brisk waft of sea air to stir your appetite, and we can help satiate it. Our wraparound deck has a barbecue for your use, and lobster is available a stone's throw away. Lobster is the undisputed king of the sea, especially when it's drawn from the cold, clean bays and inlets of Newfoundland's northeast coast. Don't leave without enjoying a meal.
